gillian anderson playing with her scully action figure Ultra-Action Figures

Figures based on The X-Files Movie
Advertising Tag Line: Fight The Future
Price: R.R.P. $24.95 each pack of 2 figures
No. of Figures: 11 basic figures available in 10 assorted packs
Manufacturer: McFarlane Toys, TMP International Inc.
Comments: TMP International released a series of 10 action figure sets (two figures in each set) to tie-in with the release of the X-Files Movie. This was a sneaky way of packaging the figures because if you bought all ten sets you would end up with quite a few duplicate figures. With the right selections you could get all eleven figures by buying just six sets. Note: There are slight differences to some of the duplicated figures but it's up to you to decide if buying a "Scully in FBI Suit" figure just to get a different coloured cell phone is good value.

The complete list of 10 sets is:

  1. Mulder in FBI Suit with corpse (wrapped in white sheet) and gurney
  2. Scully in FBI Suit with corpse (wrapped in white sheet) and gurney
  3. Mulder in FBI Suit with body in cryopod chamber
  4. Scully in FBI Suit with body in cryopod chamber
  5. Mulder in Antarctic Weather Gear with Docile Alien
  6. Scully in Antarctic Weather Gear with Docile Alien
  7. Mulder in Antarctic Weather Gear with body in cryopod chamber
  8. Scully in Antarctic Weather Gear with body in cryopod chamber
  9. Attack Alien with Caveman
  10. Fireman Victim and Cryolitter chamber
The packs (two figures in each set) were originally on sale in Australia in July 1998 for $24.95 each (although one store was "trying" to sell them for $35 each or all ten for $300) but as at mid-January 1999 they could be purchased, in limited availability, in various discount stores for under $18 and have been reduced even further (to around $12) since then.
